The present ÖNORM contains requirements and test methods for finishing layers of polyurethane (PU), epoxy resin (EP) or acryl applied during the manufacturing process on pipes made of ductile cast iron with factory-applied zinc coating according to ÖNORM B 2555 corresponding to ÖNORM EN 545, ÖNORM EN 598 and ÖNORM EN 969. These finishing layers are suitable for pipes, which are both above and below the water level installed in soil with a soil resistance of more than 1500 Omega · cm.
