The present Austrian Standard includes technical fire protecion requirements for the design of wooden and prefabricated wooden houses for building class 3 and higher. Furthermore, it gives examples, mainly for the execution of joints between partition and separating ceiling connections. If building class 2 includes "partitions and separating ceilings", this ÖNORM applies analogously. The provisions of local legislation shall be applied logically to the classification of buildings.
