Diese ÖNORM enthält die Verfahrens- und Vertragsbestimmungen für die Ausführung von Bodenaufschlußarbeiten durch Schürfe und Bohrungen sowie in Ergänzung zur ÖNORM B 4401 Teile 1 bis 4 die entsprechenden Bestimmungen für die Entnahme von Proben. Diese Bestimmungen gelten auch für die Ausführung von Rammsondierungen und Sonderversuchen im Bohrloch gemäß ÖNORM B 4419 Teil 1. Im ersten Teil werden Hinweise für die Erstellung der Ausschreibung und des Angebotes gegeben. Es werden alle für Ausschreibungen und Angebotskalkulation maßgebenden und erforderlichen Grundlagen angeführt. Der zweite Teil enthält Vertragsbestimmungen für Bodenaufschlußarbeiten. Diese regeln gemeinsam mit der ÖNORM A 2060 (Allgem. Vertragsbestimmungen für Leistungen") und der ÖNORMB 2110 (Allgem. Vertragsbestimmungen für Bauleistungen") und den in der Ausschreibung angeführten Fachnormen und besonderen Vertragsbestimmungen die Rechte und Pflichten der Auftraggeber und Auftragnehmer. Insbesondere werden alle zur Ausführung notwendigen Nebenleistungen aufgezeigt.
