Diese ÖNORM enthält in Abschnitt 1 Verfahrensbestimmungen, insbesondere Hinweise für die Ausschreibung und Erstellung von Angeboten. Der Abschnitt 2 enthält Vertragsbestimmungen für die elektronische Bauabrechnung. Er regelt für ein konkretes Bauvorhaben Rechte und Pflichten der Vertragspartner bei der Durchführung der automationsunterstützten Abrechnung von Bauleistungen. Der Anhang A der ÖNORM B 2114 enthält Bestimmungen für die Vorgangsweise bei der freien Eingabe, der Anhang B einen Formelkatalog, der der Berechnung von Mengen dient. Diese ÖNORM setzt somit die Reihe der ÖNORMEN B 2062 "Aufbau von Standardisierten Leistungsbeschreibungen unter Berücksichtigung automationsunterstützter Verfahren - Verfahrensnorm" und B 2063 "Ausschreibung, Angebot und Zuschlag unter Berücksichtigung automationsunterstützter Verfahren - Verfahrensnorm" fort, welche die automationsunterstützten Verfahren im Baubereich berücksichtigen.
