Diese ÖNORM regelt den Aufbau und die Herausgabe von Standardisierten Leistungsbeschreibungen mit fertigen Texten für Bauleistungen unter Berücksichtigung automationsunterstützter Verfahren mit Datenträgeraustausch. Der EDV-Einsatz im Bereich von Ausschreibung, Angebot und Zuschlag von Bauleistungen hat in Österreich seit der ersten Ausgabe der ÖNORMEN B 2062 und B 2063 eine Verbreitung, aber auch teilweise eine unterschiedliche Auslegung und individuelle Erweiterung von Bestimmungen erfahren, sodaß beim Datenaustausch Schwierigkeiten aufgetreten sind. Die Überarbeitung der ÖNORMEN B 2062 und B 2063 erfolgte daher mit der Absicht, die notwendigen Klarstellungen und die von den Anwendern gewünschten Ergänzungen aufzunehmen sowie den durch die EDV-Entwicklung erforderlich gewordenen Änderungen zu entsprechen.
