Diese ÖNORM legt Maße von Sitzarbeitsplätzen in ortsfesten Warten, wie Höhen- und Tiefenmaße der Pulte, Borde und Tafeln, fest. Den Gestaltern von Warten werden Grundlagen vorgegeben, die den derzeitigen arbeitswissenschaftlichen Erkenntnissen entsprechen und dem Menschen angepaßte Arbeitsbedingungen bei der Überwachung und Führung technischer Prozesse sicherstellen sollen. Neben den Begriffsbestimmungen des Abschnittes 2 werden im Abschnitt 4 Maße und Konstruktionsmerkmale zu den im Abschnitt 3 genannten Bauformen und räumlichen Anordnungen von Pulten, Borden und Tafeln gegeben.
