Certified BIM coordinators manage overarching processes in construction projects.

By gaining certification as a BIM coordinator, you demonstrate that you are capable of defining, planning and implementing construction project processes on the basis of building information modelling.

Initial certification

  • Prerequisite: Supporting documents showing knowledge of the use of CAD and/or BIM as well as relevant further training (at least 48 hours) OR two years of relevant professional experience
  • Oral examination with presentation and knowledge check
  • The certificate is valid for three years
