Von den in dieser Richtlinie genannten Schutzmaßnahmen kann abgewichen werden, wenn durch praxisorientierte Untersuchungen nachgewiesen wird, dass auf andere Weise die gleiche Sicherheit gewährleistet ist. Praxisbeispiele zu dieser Richtlinie werden im Folgeblatt VDI 2263 Blatt 6.1 enthalten sein.
