ÖVGW F G71

The technical rules for liquefied petroleum gas installations (F G-series) are applicable for all LPG installations independent of their usage (private, commercial, industrial or agricultural) which are supplied with gas according to 3rd gas-family. The ÖVGW-guideline F G71 applies to the commissioning and decommissioning as well as the maintenance of LPG installations. It contains provisions for the servicing and periodic inspection of all components and describes all activities and tests. All used expression have to be interpreted as overpressure if not defined otherwise. The technical rules for LPG installations are not applicable for vehicles and boats. For installations with MOP > 0.5 bar the dual pressure equipment regulation (DDGV) respectively the pressure equipment inspection ordinance (DGÜW-V) have to be applied in addition to this guideline. Otherwise provided legal regulations and official notifications are not affected by the present guidelines.
