Diese Bestimmungen gelten für die ortsfeste Verlegung von Energiekabeln aller Spannungsebenen sowie für Steuer- und Meßkabeln. Die Kabelanlage endet mechanisch und elektrisch mit den Kabelabschlußeinrichtungen (zB. Kabelendabschlüsse). Diese Bestimmungen gelten nicht für Provisorien (Kabeltrossen) für einen zeitlich begrenzten Einsatz (z.B. Baustellenversorgung, Notversorgung).
