Die Bestimmungen gelten nicht für Steuerkabel für Eisen- bahnsicherungsanlagen. Sie befassen sich mit Auslegen, Betten und Schutz der Kabel bei Verlegung im Erdboden, Verlegung der Kabel in Gebäuden, Kabelkanälen und auf Brücken, Verlegung der Kabel in gefährdenden Gebieten und in Gewässern, Führung der Kabel im Luftraum, Kabelaufführungen, Bestimmungen für Kreuzungen und Näherungen.
