Diese Bestimmung ist für Sprechfrequenz-Induktionsschleifensysteme anwendbar, die ein magnetisches Wechselfeld erzeugen und dafür vorgesehen sind, ein Eingangssignal für Hörgeräte mit Induktionsspule zu liefern. Das Ziel ist es, einen Standardwert für die magnetische Feldstärke in Sprechfrequenz-Induktionsschleifen für Hörgeräte festzulegen, der einen ausreichenden Signal-Stör-Abstand ergibt, ohne das Hörgerät zu übersteuern.
