This ÖNORM refers to the development, manufacture, identification/description and application of compost-soils that are suitable for use as topsoil or vegetation layer to be installed in lawns, vegetable gardens, shrub- and tree plantings and flower beds. It sets out the requirements which must be met by compost-soil. The aim is to achieve an optimal growth of plants. In such an application, the permissible use of compost-soil as waste takes place according to AWG.
