ÖNORM M 7387-2

This ÖNORM is to be applied for the execution, installation and operation of gas cen-ters in connection with fixed, above-ground pressure vessels for the storage of gases. The provisions on the installation of stationary above-ground pressure vessels for the storage of gases are not part of this ÖNORM and are dealt with in ÖNORM M 7323. This ÖNORM only specifies systems for those gases and gas mixtures which are con-tained in Table 1 and which are forwarded via the distribution network in a gaseous state. The present ÖNORM can be used accordingly for other gases and gas mixtures. This ÖNORM does not apply to: - Gases that are subject to the Liquid Gas Ordinance (FGV 2002) - Natural gas plants The relevant ÖVGW regulations apply to these gases. The scope of this part of ÖNORM M 7387 ends before the shut-off valve at the begin-ning of the distribution network according to ÖNORM M 7387-3. ÖNORM M 7387-3 must be used for the lines from the shut-off valve at the start of the distribution network to the tapping points and between gas centers. For central gas supply systems with a gas mixer that consist of several systems in accordance with Part 2 or systems in accordance with Parts 1 and 2 of ÖNORM M 7387, the requirements for design, installation and operation can be found in the rele-vant part. All pressures given in bar1) are gauge pressures
