This ÖNORM describes the extraction of that proportion of trace elements (including the problem elements) from agricultural, horticultural and forestry soils, which can be brought into solution with lithium chloride solution. It is used to determine that portion of elements in the soil, which is referred to as "mobile", which can be used to assess the ecological importance of the element concentrations .
