This ÖNORM deals with the planning of outside air requirements, fire and noise protection measures, the regulation and control, the execution as well as the operation and maintenance of controlled mechanical ventilation of school, class and group rooms as well rooms with a similar purpose (e.g. seminar or training rooms).
The following will not be covered within this ÖNORM:
- Air treatment devices that operate in recirculation mode in connection with e.g. UV-C radiation, ozone, hydrogen peroxide, chemical treatment, etc. works;
- Special classrooms (e.g. training workshops or teaching kitchens, training rooms, laboratories).
