Diese ÖNORM soll dazu dienen, Korrosionsschäden und Ablagerungen in geschlossenen Warmwasser-Heizungsanlagen zu verhüten. Diese ÖNORM ist anzuwenden für direkt mittels Heizkessel und indirekt mittels Umformer beheizte geschlossene Heizungsanlagen (gemäß ÖNORM B 8131) mit Betriebstemperaturen bis maximal 100 °C. Sie wendet sich sowohl an den Planer und den Errichter als auch an den Betreiber. In dieser ÖNORM werden Maßnahmen zur Verhütung von Korrosion und Ablagerungen beschrieben.
