This document specifies the methods for determining the maximum permissible final energy demand depending on a legally defined maximum permissible reference heating demand and a reference equipment. Furthermore, a method for determining the energy performance factor is specified. This corresponds to the ratio of the final energy demand of a building to the final energy demand of a reference building - with a heating demand in accordance with the new construction requirements of 2007 (OIB Guideline 6, 2007 edition) and a corresponding current reference equipment. Likewise, the procedures for determining the primary energy demand and carbon dioxide emissions are specified. In addition, the procedures for determining the renewable shares at the useful and final energy level within the system boundary building are defined. The results are used to prepare the energy certificate according to OIB guideline 6. Energy indicators that represent process energies are not the subject of this document.
