Valid
Based on the minimum requirements for stationary oxygen reduction systems (ORS) with oxy-gen-reduced air in buildings and industrial plants in accordance with ÖNORM EN 16750, this ÖNORM defines the interaction of all components. In general, all individual components must meet the requirements of the relevant standards. Components for which there are no relevant standards must meet the requirements of Section 4. Fulfilment of the requirements for individual components does not mean that the combination of these components also fulfils the requirements of this ÖNORM. The requirements of this ÖNORM apply for all combinations of individual components of ORS which are suitable for preventing the development of a fire in the area to be protected by lower-ing the oxygen content of the ambient air. Provided that no additional requirements are made, it shall be at least possible to connect peripheral devices not directly serving this purpose without jeopardizing the mandatory functions of the system. Control panels for oxygen reduction systems are defined in ÖNORM F 3008. In addition to ÖNORM EN 16750, maintenance specifications are also defined in ÖNORM F 3073.
