Diese ÖNORM beschreibt Verfahren zur Bestimmung des Kriechens von Geotextilien und geotextilverwandten Produkten unter Druckbeanspruchung bei Normalkraft durch Messung der Dickenänderung in Abhängigkeit von der Zeit. Die Meßproben können entweder einer Druckbeanspruchung bei Normalkraft oder einer Kombination aus Druck bei Normalkraft und einer Scherbeanspruchung unterworfen werden. Produkte, die zur Wasserführung in der Ebene des Produktes verwendet werden und die folglich für diese Funktion geprüft werden sollen, müssen nach dem Verfahren mit der Kombination von Normal- und Scherkraft geprüft werden. Die Prüfung muß an in Wasser eingetauchten Proben durchgeführt werden, außer wenn nachgewiesen werden kann, daß die im trockenen Zustand durchgeführte Prüfung die Ergebnisse nicht beeinträchtigt.
