Behandelt sind Prüfverfahren und Mindestanforderungen für Chemikalienschutzkleidung mit flüssigkeitsdichten Verbindungen zwischen den verschiedenen Teilen der Kleidung und mit dem Atemschutz, den Handschuhen und den Schuhen des Trägers gegen flüssige Chemikalien (einschl. Flüssigkeitsaerosole). Festgelegt sind die Anforderungen an die Konstruktionsmaterialien der Schutzkleidung und an das Kleidungsstück als Ganzes, einschließlich der in das Kleidungsstück intergrierten Bestandteile wie Handschuhe, Schuhe oder Atemschutzgeräte.
