Eine filtrierende Halbmaske mit Ventilen bedeckt Nase und Mund und fallweise das Kinn und hat sowohl Einatem- als auchAusatemventile und a) besteht ganz oder teilweise aus Filtermaterial oder b) besteht aus einem Atemanschluß, bei dem das (die) Dampf-/ Gasfilter einen untrennbaren Teil des Gerätes darstellen und bei dem das Partikelfilter austauschbar sein kann, falls sinnvoll, um die Nutzung des Gas-/Dampffilters bis zur zulässigen Einsatzdauer zu verlängern. Behandelt sind Mindestanforderungen, Prüfmethoden und Anforderungen für Kennzeichnung für filtrierende Halbmasken mit Ventilen, die entweder ein Gasfilter oder ein Kombinationsfilter enthalten und - außer für Fluchtzwecke - als Atemschutzgeräte verwendet werden.
