Die Norm bietet ein Hilfsmittel zur Bewertung der schädlichen Einflüsse von Luftozon. Sie beschreibt drei Verfahren: ausgeführt am Schlauch selbst bei Innendurchmessern bis 25mm; ausgeführt an einem Probekörper aus der gesamten Schlauchwand bei Innendurchmessern über 25 mm und ausgeführt an Probekörpern aus der Beschichtung bei Innendurchmessern über 25 mm. Die dritte Methode sollte nur dann angewandt werden, wenn es nicht möglich ist, die Prüfung in Übereinstimmung mit der zweiten Methode durchzuführen. Zwei Abbildungen mit Einzelheiten.
