Die Norm bezieht sich auf Feuerlöscher mit einer Gesamtmasse von mehr als 20 kg und nach den Festlegungen in Abschnitt 4 dieser Norm. Die Norm beinhaltet nicht tragbare Feuerlöscher gemäß EN 3-1 bis -5. Die Norm beinhaltet nicht fahrbare Feuerlöscher für Sonderanwendungen.
