In dieser ÖNORM werden die allgemeinen Aspekte von Rohrleitungssystemen aus weichmacherfreiem Polyvinylchlorid (PVC-U) für erdverlegte, drucklose Abwasserkanäle und -leitungen außerhalb und innerhalb der Gebäudestruktur festgelegt. Diese ÖNORM ist gemeinsam mit den Teilen 2, 3 und 5 auf Rohre und Formstücke aus PVC-U, deren Verbindungen und auf Verbindungen mit Bauteilen aus anderen Kunststoffen oder anderen Werkstoffen, die für erdverlegte drucklose Abwasserkanäle und -leitungen vorgesehen sind, anzuwenden.
