This European Standard specifies a method of determining
the mechanical performance of prefabricated reinforced
components of autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC) or lightweight
aggregate concrete with Open structure (LAC) according
to prEN 1520 under transverse loadl). These include:
- the mid-span deflections at different load levels;
- the cracking load;
- the ultimate load by progressive loading until collapse;
- the position and the shape of fracture.
