Diese Norm legt vier Verfahren zum Konditionieren von Probekörpern fest, um die Beständigkeit von Beschichtungsstoffen und Beschichtungssystemen für mineralische Untergründe und Beton im Außenbereich unter den Einwirkungen des Wetters zu beurteilen. Die festgelegten Konditionierungsverfahren berücksichtigen einen weiten Bereich von Wetterbedingungen, so dass abweichende Verfahren zum Konditionieren nur in Ausnahmefällen erforderlich sind. Falls nicht anders festgelegt, zB in Normen für bestimmte Prüfverfahren, ist das anzuwendende Verfahren zwischen den Vertragspartnern zu vereinbaren.
