Die vorliegende Norm gilt für kaltgewalzte Flacherzeugnisse aus nichtrostenden Stählen in Dicken <= 6,5 mm und in Walzbreiten von 600 mm bis zu 2100 mm, lieferbar als:a) Kaltband (in Rollen in Walzbreiten 600 mm),b) Blech (abgelängt aus Kaltbreitband),c) Längsgeteiltes Kaltbreitband,d) Stäbe (abgelängt aus längsgeteiltem Kaltband oder Blech). Diese Norm gilt nicht für Kaltband (Walzbreiten < 600 mm, siehe EN 10258) oder für kaltgewalzte Erzeugnisse, für die eigene Normen bestehen. Für kaltgewalzte Erzeugnisse, die durch diskontinuierliche Einzelblechfertigung hergestellt werden, sind die Grenzabmaße der Dicke, Breite und Länge bei der Bestellung zu vereinbaren.
