Diese Norm legt die technischen Lieferbedingungen fest für - Halbzeug, warmgeformt, z. B. Vorblöcke, Vorbrammen, Knüppel - Stabstahl - Walzdraht - Breitflachstahl - warm- oder kaltgewalztes Blech und Band - Freiform- und Gesenkschmiedestücke aus borlegierten Vergütungsstählen, die in Tabelle 3 angeführt sind. Die Stähle sind im allgemeinen zur Herstellung vergüteter oder isothermisch in der Bainitstufe umgewandelter Maschinenteile vorgesehen.
