Durch die Neueinführung von Elektro-Installationsrohren nach IEC (ÖNORMEN-Serie E 6541 bis E 6548) wird auch eine neue Zuordnung dieser Rohre zu isolierten Leitungen notwendig. ÖNORM E 6599 behandelt die Rohre der Nenngrößen 16 bis 63 für Leiterquerschnitte von 1,5 mm2 bis 120 mm2.
