Es sind Angaben für die Abmessungen, die Herstellung (Schweißen), den Transport und den Einbau einwandiger und doppelwandiger liegender Behälter aus Stahl mit Nenninhalt von 1 m3 bis 100 m3 enthalten. Die Behälter sind zur unterirdischen Lagerung von Flüssigkeiten mit Lagerguttemperaturen zwischen -10 Grad C und +50 Grad C bestimmt und können als Ein- oder Mehrkammerbehälter ausgeführt sein. Die Behälter sind für die Belastung durch eine Überdeckung von mindestens 1 m Höhe und normale Verkehrslasten auf befestigter Fahrbahn bemessen. Es sind Einzelheiten über die Konstruktion des Behälters sowie über die Schweißung festgelegt. Ebenso sind Angaben über den Transport, eventuell am Behälter auftretende Schäden und die Kennzeichnung des Behälters enthalten.
