This ÖNORM applies to fuels with a biogenic volume content of at least 3%.
It specifies requirements and limit values together with the test methods to be used to test these properties for liquid fuels with biogenic components, which are particularly suitable for oil firing systems in accordance with ÖNORM EN 303-1, ÖNORM EN 303-2 and ÖNORM EN 303-4 as well as ÖNORM EN 267 are.
In contrast to ÖNORM C 1109, this ÖNORM specifies fuels which, in addition to components derived from mineral oil, also contain components of biogenic origin, such as B. Fatty acid methyl esters (FAME) according to ÖNORM EN 14214.
