The present Austrian Standard gives design principles for manually installed tiled stoves. It is applicable to wood fired tiled stoves with fuel quantities between 10 kg and 40 kg and nominal heating times from 8 h to 24 h. This ÖNORM neither applies to combinations with water heat exchangers for central heating or other heat drawing devices such as heat pipes, water ships, etc., nor to combinations with heating insets. The calculation serves as proof for the fulfilment of legal requirements concerning emissions and efficiency.
