Diese ÖNORM legt Abmessungen, Anforderungen und Prüfungen und die Gütesicherung für Rohre aus Polyethylen hoher Dichte(PE-HD) für Wasserleitungen und Trinkwasserleitungen fest. Die angegebenen Nenndruckstufen (PN) beziehen sich aus- schließlich auf eine Wassertemperatur von 20 Grad Celsius. Bei Verwendung der Rohre für Wasser mit höheren Betriebstem-peraturen ist der höchstzulässige Betriebsdruck gemäß ÖNORM M 7330 für die jeweiligen Druckstufen in Abhängigkeit von der Betriebsdauer der Tabelle 6 zu entnehmen. Rohre für Trinkwasser sind als solche zu kennzeichnen. Außerdem sind dafür die Bestimmungen des Lebensmittelge- setzes in der jeweils geltenden Fassung (dzt. BGBl. Nr. 86/ 1975 Lebensmittelgesetz) zu beachten sowie die Festlegungen von ÖNORM B 5014 Teil 1 zu erfüllen.
