In dieser ÖNORM werden die Abmessungen, Anforderungen, Prüfungen und die Gütesicherung für Kunststoffrohre in Verbundbauweise (Kunststoffverbundrohre) mit mechanischen Rohrverbindungen oder Schweißmuffen für Heiß- und Kaltwassersysteme innerhalb und außerhalb von Gebäuden festgelegt. Aufgrund der verschiedenen Einsatzbereiche erfolgt die Einteilung in Klassen, welche sich an den Betriebstemperaturen der Rohrleitungssysteme orientieren. Die im Abschnitt "Anforderungen und Prüfungen" festgelegten Verfahren sind auf praxisorientierte Verhältnisse abgestimmt. Diese ÖNORM sieht eine Kennzeichnung gemäß § 3 (2) des Normengesetzes 1971 vor.
