ÖNORM B 5016

This standard is used for the quality assurance of compaction work for earthworks for pipe work in pipe trenches and dams. The test methods described in this standard may be used both for in-house and external monitoring of earthworks for pipe work in pipe trenches and dams. Any additional provisions of the road keeper shall be considered in the planning and quality assurance of the compaction measures. An examination according to this ÖNORM may be waived altogether, if - in the case of pipes with nominal sizes up to DN 500 in the static calculation such low compression values are assumed that they are reliably achieved without compaction, and - if there are no specific requirements for the settlement behaviour of the surface. The described quality assurance measures may also be applied to soil replacement according to ÖNORM B 2503, ÖNORM B 2538, ÖNORM EN 805, ÖNORM EN 1610 and ONR CEN / TR 1046.
