This Austrian Standard regulates point fixed or point-and-line fixed mounted glazings. It also applies to glazings intended for regular stiffening. This standard does not apply to all-glass doors, shower doors and/or all-glass structures (doors with side frames and fanlight). The glazings are classified according to their inclination angle to the vertical: - horizontal glazing: angle exceeds 15° - vertical glazing: minimum angle 15°. For glazings providing protection against fall from a height ÖNORM B 3716-3 shall be additionally taken into account, for accessible trafficable and walkable glazings ÖNORM B 3716-4 shall be additionally considered.
