This Austrian Standard specifies rules for design and execution of roofing and wall coverings. It contains determinations about permitted roof inclination depending on the respective covering material, determinations about suitable subsoil, basis of calculation for fastening against wind loads of roofing coverings and particulars about simplified method of calculation against wind loads of simple and double-shell roofing with dense and porous covering. Non-ventilated roofing and wall coverings are not subject of this Austrian Standard. Roofing and wall coverings of metal and curtain walling in accordance with ÖNORM EN 13830 are not subject of this Austrian Standard. The procedural and contractual provisions governing the execution of roofing and wall coverings are regulated in ÖNORM B 2219.
