Diese ÖNORM enthält Bestimmungen über Abmessungen, zulässige Abweichungen und Oberflächenbearbeitung von Einfassungs- und Pflastersteinen aus natürlichen Gesteinen. Handelsübliche Bezeichnungen, wie Einfassungssteine, Pflastersteine und Großpflastersteine werden begrifflich definiert. Anhand von Tabellen werden Verwendung, Herstellung und Lieferbestimmungen der diversen Steinsorten angegeben. Diese ÖNORM sieht eine Kennzeichnung nach § 3 (1) Normengesetz 1971 vor.
