Diese ÖNORM enthält Richtlinien für die Geräteausstattung (Ausstattung mit Turn- und Sportgeräten und sonstigen für die Sportausübung erforderlichen Geräten) von Kleinhallen (10 m x 18 m), Normalhallen (15 m x 27 m), Spielhallen (22 m x 44 m; auch teilbar) und Dreifach-Sporthallen (27 m x 45 m; dreiteilbar) gemäß ÖNORM B 2608, soweit diese als Kombinationssporthallen verwendet werden. Die sinngemäße Anwendung dieser Bestimmungen auch auf andere Turn- und Sporthallen bzw. für die Neuausstattung bestehender Sporthallen wird empfohlen.
