This Standard specifies terms and definitions as well as the minimum performance range of prefabricated buildings, irrespective of the construction materials used, namely for residential buildings, office buildings, kindergartens, schools and general purpose buildings.
This ÖNORM does not cover buildings erected with prefabricated, but not floor-high individual supporting elements, such as houses made of brick, aerated concrete masonry units, hollow bricks and jacket blocks or timber planks for blockhouses. The same applies to buildings which do not fulfil the minimum performance requirements of expansion stage 1.
