Dimensions, units and equations

This technical information bulletin was developed by Committee 025 "Dimensions and units – Basics and applications" and summarises the main rules for writing and typesetting dimensions, units and equations. In addition, it provides explanations relating to the ÖNORM EN ISO 80000 series and ÖVE/ÖNORM EN 80000 series.

The technical information bulletin also presents the corresponding provisions in the SI brochure "The international system of units (SI)" on the basis of examples.

This technical information bulletin serves as a guideline for all areas in which scientific and technical contexts are described.
