Supplements to ÖNORM B 1301

This page provides additional documents relating to ÖNORM B 1301. ÖNORM B 1301 "Objektsicherheitsprüfungen für Nicht-Wohngebäude – Regelmäßige Prüfroutinen im Rahmen von Sichtkontrollen und Begutachtungen ― Grundlagen und Checklisten" (Building safety inspections for non-residential buildings – Regular inspection procedures as part of visual checks and non-destructive assessments – Basic principles and checklists) was published on 15 April 2016.

This ÖNORM is to be applied in the context of regular inspection procedures consisting of visual checks and non-destructive inspections for existing non-residential buildings and complexes as a whole. The evaluation is based on whether the non-residential building is in a condition that can be deemed suitable by consensus. The building safety inspection procedures in the context of this ÖNORM can be applied to non-residential buildings erected above ground. Residential buildings in accordance with ÖNORM B 1300 are not subject to this ÖNORM. Both the building safety checklists and the building safety inspections are to be individually compiled and updated for complexes as a whole and the non-residential buildings contained therein. This ÖNORM does not cover any procedural steps taken by the authorities. In the event that different criteria are specified by laws and resulting provisions regarding building safety processes and inspections of non-residential buildings, such as for railway facilities and their operation, these are to be given preference.
