The documents sold by Austrian Standards (ÖNORM, ONR, DIN, ISO etc.) are copyrighted texts.
Austrian Standards or the legal entities represented by Austrian Standards are entitled to claims against copyright infringements, in particular for injunctive relief, invoicing, payment, removal and publication of judgement.
Purchasing a standard does not entitle you to any rights of reproduction, e.g. the right to make the standard available on the intranet or in any other way inside or outside the company, to copy or scan the standard, etc. This also applies to extracts of the standard.

The documents sold by Austrian Standards (ÖNORM, ONR, DIN, ISO, etc.) are copyright-protected.
All printed and electronic documents offered by Austrian Standards plus and Austrian Standards International (with the exception of legal texts)
- are protected by copyright,
- i.e. standards, in particular all forms of ÖNORMs and prestandards (ÖNORM/ÖVE, -EN, -EN ISO, etc.) and associated drafts.
- The same applies to standards that are withdrawn and invalid
- , as well as supplementary sheets to ÖNORMs
- and other standards products (e.g. DIN).
This is any utilisation of an ÖNORM (e.g. copying, printing, scanning, data transfer, etc.) that creates a further copy in a directly or indirectly perceptible form.
With the purchase of a standard you do not acquire any reproduction rights, such as the right to make the standard available on the intranet or in any other way inside or outside the company, to copy or scan the standard, etc. This also applies to extracts of the standard.
If you produce multiple copies from an original, this equates to reproduction and requires permission in the form of a licence for use. This licence must be obtained from Austrian Standards plus GmbH.
No, publication on the internet is not permitted.
