Presidential Council
The consultations mainly relate to matters of economic policy and strategy. What's more, the Presidential Council discusses relevant technical subjects, future developments and changes relevant to Austrian Standards, and how these may impact on the association's area of work.
To address special topics in greater depth, the Presidential Council set up the Building Regulations Committee (Ausschuss für Bauregeln), the Consumer Affairs Committee (Consumer Council) (Ausschuss für Verbraucherangelegenheiten (Verbraucherrat)) and the Research, Innovation and Standardisation Committee (Ausschuss für Forschung, Innovation und Standardisierung).
