Diese Norm gilt für alle Geräte zur Messung der durch Neutronenstrahlung mit Energien bis 16MeV erzeugten Umgebungs-Äquivalentdosisleistung, wobei das Gerät mindestens eine Detektoreinheit und ein Anzeigegerät mit einem Display für das Messergebnis umfassen muß. Zweck dieser Norm ist es, die Leistungsmerkmale von Äquivalentdosisleistungs-Messgeräten sowie die anzuwendenden Prüfverfahren festzulegen.
