Diese Norm legt Anforderungen und Prüfverfahren für autokatalytische Nickel-Phosphor-Legierungs-Überzüge fest, die aus wässrigen Lösungen auf metallischen Substraten abgeschieden werden. Sie gilt nicht für autokatalytisch abgeschiedene Nickel-Bor-Legierungs-Überzüge, Nickel-Phosphor-Verbundwerkstoffe und ternäre Legierungen. WARNUNG - Bei der Anwendung dieser Norm können gefährliche Materialien, Arbeitsvorgänge und Ausrüstungen auftreten bzw. benutzt werden müssen. Diese Norm gibt nicht vor, alle Sicherheitsprobleme anzusprechen, die mit ihrer Benutzung verbunden sind. Es liegt in der Verantwortlichkeit des Benutzers dieser Norm, geeignete Maßnahmen für Sicherheit und Gesundheitsschutz festzu-legen und die Anwendbarkeit der regelnden Beschränkungen vor der Benutzung festzustellen.
