Dieser Teil von ISO 17225 legt die qualitätsbezogenen Brennstoffklassen und -spezifikationen von klassifiziertem Stückholz fest. Die vorliegende Internationale Norm umfasst nur Stückholz, das aus folgenden Rohmaterialien hergestellt wurde (siehe ISO 17225-1, Tabelle 1):
- 1.1.1 Vollbäume ohne Wurzeln;
- 1.1.3 Stammholz;
- 1.1.4 Waldrestholz (dicke Zweige, Baumkronen usw.);
- 1.2.1 Chemisch unbehandelte Holzrückstände.
