Diese Internationale Norm legt die Eigenschaften von ungeschäumten, heterogenen Bodenbelägen auf der
Basis von Polyvinylchlorid (PVC) fest, die sowohl in Form von Platten als auch Rollen geliefert werden. Die
Produkte können eine transparente, nicht aus PVC bestehende Oberflächenausführung enthalten.
Um den Verbraucher bei seiner Auswahl zu unterstützen, enthält diese Norm ein Klassifizierungssystem
(siehe ISO 10874) auf Basis der Nutzungsintensität, das zeigt, wofür diese Bodenbeläge zufriedenstellend
eingesetzt werden können. Die Norm legt auch die Anforderungen zur Kennzeichnung fest.
