Das Dokument legt ein Ultraschallverfahren fest, mit dem die Komponenten des Elastizitätstensors von keramischen Verbundwerkstoffen bei Raumtemperatur zu bestimmen sind. Aus den Komponenten des Elastizitätstensors können Youngscher Modul, Schermodul und Querkontraktionszahl bestimmt werden. Es gilt für keramische Verbundstoffe mit unidirektionaler (1D), bidirektionaler (2D) sowie dreidirektionaler (xD, mit 2 x 3) Endlosfaserverstärkung, die mindestens eine orthotrope Symmetrie haben und deren Werkstoff-Symmetrieachsen bekannt sind.
